With its low sierras, flat plains, and mountainous vistas, the province of San Luis has something for everyone. An interesting destination is the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park. Translated to "Jaws Mountain Range", this 370,600-acre park has many jagged geological formations in varying shades of red and gray, similar to America's Grand Canyon.
The weather in the province is arid with areas of varying microclimates. Summer temperatures range from 62-74F/17-23C with winter lows of 37F/3C.
